Ruth T.  Cunningham
Ruth T. Cunningham, 93, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Mrs. Cunningham was born August 27, 1925 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to the late Abram and Emma (Campbell) Totten. She was a lifelong resident of the Middlebush section of Somerset.

Ruth was a longtime member of the Middlebush Reformed Church in Somerset and was a member of the Middlebush Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. In her younger years, Ruth worked at the Colonial Farms Restaurant, which is now the Stage House Ristorante. She was also a clerk for the Franklin Township Building Department, where she worked for many years.

Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death in 2008 by her husband, Earle Cunningham Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Lewis of Somerset; her sons, Earle Cunningham and his wife Margie of VA and Roy Cunningham and his wife Donna of CT; her 8 grandchildren, Bill, Lori, Kim, Lee, Ali, Samantha, Denise, and Brian; and her 13 great-grandchildren, Sandra, Samantha, Alexandria, Dylan, Jordan, Gregory, Kayla, Grace, Blair, James, Brooke, Jackson and Westyn; her two nephews and her one niece.

Visitation will be held at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ 08873 on Friday from 4-8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Somerset.
