What an example brother Bateman has set for us! Joyfully, Loyally and Courageously he served Jehovah. Proving to be a modern day example of a faithful servant of our Heavenly Father Jehovah God that we can imitate. Hebrews 11:7.
My fond memory since childhood has always been of him at weddings/gatherings on the dance floor.

Condolence: Our sincere condolences to Mrs. Bateman, and the entire Bateman family. From the moment we met the Batemans we knew Mr. Bateman was a very special person. The enormous amount of love and attention to detail his wife and daughter showed him during visits was admirable. His daughter always asking questions, and making sure he had his scarf around his neck, hat on, and bundled up tight dressed like an "Eskimo" according to Mr. Bateman, ready to brace the cold weather. Mr. Bateman was such a kind and charismatic person. We only knew him for a short time, but it felt like forever. We will miss his humor, and talks he had with us about the Bible. Gone too soon. RIP

Condolence: Bro Bateman - your home was literally a refuge for myself and my siblings and your mother (Aunt Ena) was our grandma and love giver. You were our North Star. We felt so special and thought we were extra special until we grew up and realized that you treated everyone the same way. Our world was better because of you.
So you have fought the fine fight to the end.
Condolences to Ms. Bev and the entire family on behalf of my siblings and my parents. Much Love!

Condolence: My deepest condolences to Mrs. Bateman and the family. Mr. Bateman was very well taken care of during his last days. I had the pleasure of seeing him again, and it was really touching how he said my name and the fact that remembered me was a blessing. He was such an amazing man and he has lived a wonderful fulfilled life. My dear friend Marsha had remained strong, focused and had gone above and beyond in securing all avenues to keep her dad comfortable at peace and happy; May God Bless the Bateman Family.
