Mrs. Nora Yahn passed away on Wednesday morning at Care One at Trinitas in Elizabeth. She was 65 years old.
Mrs. Yahn was born in New Brunswick and was a lifetime resident of the city. She was devoted grandmother, sister and mother who had a bubbly personality and a love for coffee and chocolate. She never missed an episode of Dancing with the Stars and always had her TV Guide close by.
She was pre deceased by her parents John McDermott and Constance Crea. She was also predeceased by her Husband Albert Yahn and a daughter Jennifer.
She is survived by her two daughters April and Sharon Yahn of New Brunswick, her father Carmen Crea Sr. of North Brunswick, and siblings Loretta of Edison, John of Milltown, Vincent of Egg Harbor, Kevin of Berkely Heights, Marie of North Brunswick, Gina of PA., Constance of Franklin Park and Carmen of Highland Park. She is also survived by her grandchildren Joshua and Hailey Rodriguez, Cole Kinsey and Chloe Sharpe along with many nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be held at the Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset from 4-8 PM on Friday with a blessing beginning at 7:30 PM. All other services will take place privately.
