Obituary for Carmine Luizza

Carmine Luizza
Carmine Charles Luizza

Millstone Twp.

Carmine “Charlie Luizza, 41, husband, father, son, brother, and friend to everyone he met was sadly taken too soon from us on Saturday May 13, 2017.

Charlie grew up in North Brunswick, NJ and graduated from North Brunswick High School. He worked as a housing inspector and served as a New Brunswick City Firefighter since 2002.

It was impossible to know Charlie and not love him. His smile, walk, confidence, bold personality, kindness and generosity made him one of a kind. Even when you wanted to shake your head at him, it wasn’t easy not to smile because he was THAT loveable. Charlie always took care of everyone. He wanted those around him to enjoy everything he had and he went out of his way to help anyone he knew. This just didn’t apply to people. Every animal he came across instantly had a new home. He ended up with a zoo. He will always be remembered as someone who cared for many and asked for nothing. Above all he will be remembered as an amazing father.

Charlie is pre deceased by his father Charles Luizza.

He is survived by his best friend and wife Jennifer Luizza, his beautiful and loving children Julianna Luizza, Carmine Luizza Jr., and Sofiabella Luizza. He is also survived by his mother Denise Luizza, sisters Julianne Luizza and Tina Luizza and nephew Michael Luizza Gall along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and too many friends to count.

Visiting will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 on Friday at the Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. Services will begin on Saturday morning at 9 AM at Gleason Funeral Home followed by a 10 AM funeral mass at St, Mary of Mount Virgin Church on Remsen Avenue in New Brunswick. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park.

Charlie you will be always in our hearts. Never forgotten, always missed. I look forward to seeing that smile again someday, but until then go catch up with your dad, I am sure he is waiting for you to tell you how proud he is of the amazing man and father you were.
